Hunter has now been checked by our vet. He is estimated to be 7 years old and weighs 21 lbs. His ears have been treated. He will be scheduled for dental work and the removal of a growth behind his ear. He was tested for any communicable diseases and given his shots. And most of all, he made everyone love him instantly! He is now in a room adjusting to life with the other cats. After his tests came back clean, he was put in room 3 and a volunteer spent some time with him to make him feel comfortable. He allowed her to brush him and hold him on her lap. And most amazing, Tasha, one of our cats, came up to him twice indicating her desire to make friends! It seems Hunter may have a girlfriend already! Efforts to locate his previous owner appear to have failed. We checked for a chip and there was none. If his owner can be found, that would be wonderful (positive identification would be required). However, since this seems unlikely after a year, he is now up for adoption. Please come and visit this sweet boy. Hes a wonderful lap sitter, loves petting and brushing and just being mellow with a quiet person. And dont forget... SHARE! :D
