Hurricane Ana is bringing rain, sometimes heavy, strong winds and potential for thunderstorms through parts of Sunday. By Sunday AM, it will be tracking south of Kauai County and Niihau may see the outer edge of tropical winds along with rain. So far... Ana has produced up to 12 inches on Hawaii Island then up to 3 over Maui Co, up to 4 on Oahu and up to 2 on the Garden Isle.... and more on the way tonight -especially for the western half of the state and where thunderstorms form. We will likely see rain Sunday morning then clearing for most of the state besides Kauai. There will still be pockets of heavy rain popping up due to thunderstorms... so we will have to monitor any development in the afternoon. Have a safe rest of your weekend!
