Hurricane Cristobal is struggling a bit this morning with wind shear (notice the elongated shape) and has not strengthened overnight with winds still at 75 mph. Moving slowly NNE, the storm should pass W of Bermuda with few impacts aside from tropical rains. Next in the pipeline is Invest 97L (orange-hatched area), midway between Africa and the U.S. Still just a 30% chance it will develop over the next five days as it tracks WNW. Models havent gotten real excited about this system yet, but conditions could improve over the upcoming week-end that would enhance development.
