A Storm System Will Move Through The Pacific Northwest This Weekend With Heavy Rain Expected Late Saturday Through Sunday. The Heaviest Rain Is Expected Along The Central And Northern Oregon Cascades Where Rain Amounts Of 5 To 8 Inches Are Possible Along The Cascade Crest. The Snow Level Will Be Near 4000 Feet On Saturday And Rise To Near 8000 Feet On Sunday. Along The East Slopes Of The Washington Cascades...Precipitation Amounts Of 4 To 6 Inches Are Possible Near The Crest. The Snow Level Will Be Around 3000 Feet On Saturday And Then Rise To Near 6500 Feet By Sunday Afternoon. Over The Blue Mountains...Precipitation Amounts Of 2 To 3 Inches Are Possible. The Snow Level Will Be Around 3000 Feet Saturday And Rise To Near 8000 Feet On Sunday. Smaller Streams And Creeks Are Expected To Start Rising Saturday With The Large Rivers Seeing Substantial Rises Saturday Night And Sunday.
