Hypothetical Question re the 10th: If the Gardaì try to stop me from walking on a public street to hinder my protest, if they throw me or push me, or pepper spray me, without me every raising a hand or threatening to raise a hand to them; can I pepper spray them back? Im not necessarily one for an eye for an eye but why will the unpoliced Gardai and riot squad be able to go on their power trips and throw us all over the place. The last time they pepper sprayed, they had a man on the ground, his legs wriggling and writhing and they continued to spray him. They never get challenged on this. I actually dont believe theyll do any of this, this time because from past record, if the crowd is very big in numbers, the Gardai stand back and allow peaceful protest. They only seem to abuse when they are outnumbering the protesters and this wont be the case on the tenth.
