This video (photographer unknown) not only captures real-time footage precious to accident investigation, but also stresses the danger of self-and-other rescue in an ongoing dangerous situation. This photographer even saw the need to stop focused filming process to go into active saving mode at heightened emergency but KEPT THE CAMERA GOING which still captures footage and sound. In an ideal situation there would be enough rescuers and he would carefully document as best he could do safely. Knowing your most important & effective role in an emergency is something to identify even before you find yourself in an emergency. I value CPR as something that even children can learn. Knowing when to stay in a vehicle or get far away from the scene is a harder one to decide. Having an emergency kit and basic plan for different scenarios is why CEN (Christian Emergency Network) and locally ReadyIndy exist.
