I AM A PARTY MAN WHO RESPECTS PARTY STRUCTURES....THE CONSULTATION OF OUR PARTY UPHOLDS THE ELECTORAL RULE OF ONE MAN ONE VOTE.....I GODSDAY ORUBEBE CANVASS FOR ONE MAN, ONE VOTE. I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING OUTSIDE ONE MAN ONE VOTE!....so declared Elder Godsday Oghenevwede Okute Amafiniowei Orubebe when he visited the Delta State Exco led by Chief Peter Nwaboshi. Orubebe who applauded the Leadership of the state party chairman, Peter Nwaboshi stated that the mark of a great leader was what he left behind. He said that the new PDP Secretariat would be a legacy of the Party Chairman. He thanked members of the Exco who turned out to welcome him. He reeled out his accomplishments on the political field starting from the grassroots to his service on the national platform as a Minister in three separate ministries under Presidents Yaradua and GEJ. Stressing that he was ready for service in Delta State, he said that his road map for the development of Delta was ready. Incorporated in that road map was an economic engagement program which would provide employment and tackle youth restiveness by using natural resources available in LGAS. Youths he said were full of energy and were resourceful and must be engaged. Orubebe also highlighted his contribution to the Vision 2020 program which would ensure that Nigeria was one of the top 20 ranking nations by the year 2020. Orubebe said simply that if he can plan for the nation, he could plan for Delta. He urged the party Exco to ensure there was a level playing field for all aspirants. He announced that he was ready for service as the next governor of Delta State. Chief Nwaboshi responding acknowledged the experience and pedigree of Orubebe. He emphasised that Orubebe had achieved all he did through hard work and dependence on God.....In his words, no man maketh a Man! He assured all party members present that the PDP would ensure and uphold one man, one vote.
