I AM IN LOVE Those who do not hear the sound of the drum consider the dancers as mad. Yes! Those who do not know the reason why you do certain things would not understand you why you act that way. Perhaps you have said it several times to somebody that you love him or her and you have your special reason. To love somebody is not a crime; otherwise God would have perished in jail because He loved us from the beginning. I have come to believe that, love is not necessarily a feeling, but rather a decision. That was why Christ said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). To me, Christ meant that if we love Him we should choose or decide to obey Him. If we decide to obey Him it is for our own good. He said, Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matt 5:19 ). In the above passage, it is obvious that, if we think we are obeying the commandment of God, but we do not teach others to obey, we are missing the mark. We should therefore use every opportunity to make Christ known to others. It is obvious that every heart that loves Christ is an evangelistic tool, but a heart without the love for Christ is an evangelistic ground, since Christ has to be introduced to that heart. Are you an evangelistic tool or an evangelistic ground? I may have a generous assortment of weaknesses, but I want to be recognized in the Heavenly Kingdom to spend eternity with my Savior. I therefore ask Him every day to strengthen me in my weakness to overcome any obstacle that will prevent me from reaching my goal and also invite you to hanker for Heaven. The beginning of forever is now. Whether we will forever be with Jesus in the Heavenly kingdom or forever be in condemnation with Satan depends on the decision we take now. “Now” is a very crucial moment in everybody’s life. Any of us can die now, and it will be sad if we have not decided to love Christ because “it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Heb 9:27). We are in a new year. We may meet several challenges that will make us disgrace God. But let us decide to obey the voice of the Holy Spirit and flee from all sinful acts. In page 22 of her book, “Council on health,”Mrs Ellen G. White writes, “Sinful indulgence defiles the body and unfits men for spiritual worship.” I have decided to love Jesus Christ. I believe you are in love with Jesus as well. Let us show and tell the world about His love, from now till the end of time in His name. Amen. I wish you all the best in life full of love for our Lord Jesus Christ, so that we can live as obedient children in order to have access to the Heavenly kingdom in Jesus’ name. Amen.
