I AM THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING OUT IN THE DESERT, MAKE STRAIGHT THE WAY OF THE LORD. (Jn 1:19-28) And this is the testimony of John. When the Jews from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to him to ask him, Who are you? he admitted and did not deny it, but admitted, I am not the Messiah, So they asked him, What are you then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you the Prophet? He answered, No. So they said to him, Who are you, so we can give and answer to those who sent us? What do you have to say for yourself? He said: I am the voice of one crying out in the desert, Make Straight the way of the Lord, as Isaiah the prophet said, Some Pharisees were also sent. They asked him, Why then do you baptize if you are not the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet? John answered them, I baptize with water; but there is one among you whom you do not recognize, the one who is coming after me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to untie. This happened in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing. To attain holiness we should follow the humility of John, who fulfilled his divine duties without thinking as if he were a savior. Are you like John or not? Today the Gospel speaks about the testimony of St. John the Baptist and Today is My Birthday. The Name John means God is Gracious. And indeed God is gracious! And like John the Baptist, I also speak boldly of what is true and in fact that is usually the reason why I am hated and misunderstood. But because I already anticipate it then I am the first one to understand them. I am sinful that is why I can easily relate and understand them. But I have to tell them even if they will hate me for it as long as I have reminded them or corrected them. And all these comes from the lessons in the past and so I have to tell and remind so that it will not happen again but then they only see it and take it negatively on my part. But as long as I have done my part on making straight the way of the Lord. For I am sinful yet the Lord has given me more than enough opportunities and chances in life for me to change. Accepted or not I will remain, because I am not here for the applause of men but I am on a mission to share the lessons I have learned and to guide others so that they may not experience what I have experienced in the past. I am 46 but 20 years ago I was in a near death experience and now God has given me another 26 years more! And that is why I can say I have lived more than enough and so I am more than willing to share my life to All the ends of the earth,,, that I have seen and experience the saving power of God! And I wouldnt mind being misunderstood or hated, as long as I have the guts to say what is right because I have learned the lessons of the wrong I have done in the past. God is so gracious to me and I am so thankful for giving me more opportunities to bring His message and Love to all. And to all those who hated me... I AM SORRY! And to those who do not understand me... Its Okay! And to those who are doubtful... I trust and I pray that God will strengthen me so that I will persevere to the end. I am not worthy and I am not perfect yet I am still perfecting and picking us the pieces and putting them together and it is my utmost desire that one day, I may be confident and not ashamed before Jesus, when He comes in His glory!
