I AM disgusted. Even though the Bank of Canada lowered the prime rate today by 1/4 point, TD will not follow the Bank of Canada rate cut. I wonder if the other banks will follow suit? Nonetheless, I feel sorry for those who have a variable mortgage or a secured line with TD. My advice for those at TD, do your homework and get better rates elsewhere. If people do not object or move, the bank will carry on and do whatever they want at YOUR expense. This is simply corporate greed!!!!!
