I Always Feel Like Somebodies Watching Me Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. (John 3:20-21 NIV) Theres a lot of talk right now about privacy and police wearing cameras so that all of their actions and the actions of the public can be scrutinized or at least documented for review in times of error. I wonder how our behavior would be as Christians if we remembered that everything that we think, do and say and dont do and dont say is recorded in the Book of Life. This is not my opinion by the way, this is scripture, Gods word. Thats right, we are always under review. God sits up high and takes account of our character. Are we being who he created us to be? Or are we being who we want to be? There is a reason that children are afraid of the dark because God has ingrained in them at an early age that darkness breeds death. As we grow into a world of sin we become more comfortable by the world and its ways. Going out in the dark doesnt seem to bother us as much. But there are times when we are all alone that we dare not walk into the darkest of areas for fear of the unknown. We search frantically for light; even to the point where a candle will suffice. Today I want to encourage you my friend to be transparent. Stay in the light at all cost. Remember that you are being watched by both Saints and Demons! Everyone is trying to get your attention and everyone wants you on their team. Which will it be: Team Dark or Team Light? May God bless your day. ~ Bro Ben
