I Am NOT This Virus You look at me as though I am poison and I’m not fit to live. You don’t understand my hurt, my pain, yet you judge me still. I am not my situation or my circumstance. I just wish that you would give me a chance. I see the stares and hear the words passed. Those words cut like a knife and tries to steal the joy that I have. I am not this virus or what brought it about. I am someone of worth, without a doubt. Be careful, death does not discriminate, just be prepared. If you ever become sick you will find out who really cares. You look at me as though I’m nobody and I deserved what came. You judged me and didn’t even know my name. The world is cold and will leave you for dead. But I chose life instead. I am not this virus or who you say that I am. I am a child of the King, saved by the blood of the Lamb. I have found real love and someone to take away my pain. He has lifted every burden and Jesus is His name. Living with my Heavenly Father Your words and stares that tried to kill me, now I can’t be bothered. You judge me but don’t understand who I am. I am not this virus or who you say that I am.
