I COULDNT HELP BUT CRY There is this MAD MAN of about 32 years of age lying helplessly behind BARCLAYS BANK, Cape Coast, I had to help. It was 3pm when I visited the Fishing Coast to scout for a FISHERMAN WHO CAN SPEAK ENGLISH for a programme. I passed by this HELPLESS MAN lying there shaking all over with the right arm clinching his chest. My heart started bleeding but I couldnt help since I had no idea what was wrong with him. Its 18:50pm (three hours later) when I used same route and came upon the man still there SHAKING. Still there was nobody around so I drew close to ask him whether he was hungry and he muttered something I took for yes. I dashed off. Bought him water and food and fed him since he could hardly hold the food or sit up. THEN AN OLD FAMILIAR VOICE IN MY HEAD SAID: Boy, you see, certain things are ONLY YOURS to attend to! MAN, I COULDNT HELP MYSELF BUT CRY AS I KEPT WHISPERING TO MYSELF Oh God, may no such thing happen to my FAMILY or my children. This is how my GRANNY TAUGHT me to live, She learnt it from her mother. THIS IS HOW WE USED TO LIVE: Helping each other. I grew up in a family and Society where strangers were treated with the Honour often even denied the home people and THE SICK were worshiped with REVERENTIAL CARE! I have no grounds to DENY HEAVEN EXISTS but hey, I LIVE THIS WAY BECAUSE IT MAKES ME HAPPY AND BOOSTS MY SENSE OF BELONGING! I LIVE FOR MANKIND, HEAVEN IS A REWARD, NOT THE PURPOSE!! CHECK YOUR BIBLE!
