I DO HOPE, that finally the USA immediately will RATIFY the INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION on the RIGHTS of the CHILD which has been accepted by General Assembly of the United Nations in 1989. The USA participated in creation the Convention on the rights of the child during all process, have signed it on February, 16th, 1995, but up to today only the USA and Somalia did not ratify the Convention though the Convention has come into force on September, 2nd, 1990, in spite of the fact that America proclaims Itself as a leader in struggle for human rights, it leaves children not protected from violence! It is our shame!
