ABOUT MY HOME CORN PILLOWS.. i am making them to pay for the vet bills of my basset Bailey who has Addisons disease. this is a bad disease to control but when it is controlled a dog can live a normal life. for years we did the pills method of treatment but last yr all year really he was not right, many things were going wrong and i learned of a fb page for families of dogs with addisons.. i began to ask questions and they taught me lots of good info one day i got to speak to a lady on the phone that gave me the courage to try this new treatment and it has made all the difference in my Bailey.. so to keep this going for him i am sewing these corn pillows.. they are bags filled with whole feed corn and covered with a pillow case made of soft flannel. a ribbon keeps it closed. you heat them in the mircrowave or you can put in freezer for an ice bag. great for any kind of pain.. or just when you want a warm spot like in a bed or car.. kids love them they are safe for babies and animals.. i now have two cute kids fabric and i will tell you my grandchildren love them.. carried them around all the time and slept with them and took them in the car also.. the price for each bag is $23. if mailed in the U.S. they are 7-18 and the outer bag is washable..i have many fabrics to choose from below are my two new fabrics for kids. please pm me if you want one and i can also refer you to people that have purchased them.
