I-I-I was sorely tempted to go into the light, then remembered I had left the light on in the cupboard under the stairs! Dripping nostrils have dried up this morning, joint pains are diminishing, sore throat replaced by niggling cough, I draw upon hidden strength to call to my good wife and ask for some little morsel of food to try and get my strength back, not too much, three sausages, two fried eggs, beans, fried tomato and a few slices of toast and a hearty mug of coffee should help methinks. I will try and help her by dragging my helpless body up onto the pillows into an upright position in bed waiting patiently for my breakfast... Not long now, methinks, I can hear my good wife clattering and banging the pots and pans as she practices her Inuit throat singing and I can sometimes pick out a few words she is practicing for her part in the local community play, Roots, "yes a master, I isa good slave mass-er, yes sir-ree!" I think I may just pull through....
