I Just found out a college friend of mine passed away today. Suicide has always been one of those Taboo topics, but I think it is necessary to be mentioned. I believe everyone, in some way shape and form has been affected by suicide; whether a family member, friend, colleague, or acquaintance went through such actions we have all encountered or dealt with the consequence of suicide. Depression is the main cause of suicide. Its hard to see the bigger picture when you are in that dark spot in your mind. One may feel trapped, unloved, helpless, or just alone. You are not. Trust me. You might think people may take you as being crazy or foolish for feeling the way you do. But theres a reason why you feel that way. There is. Its hard being yourself, especially if you feel different or like you dont fit in. I dont really know where Im going with this.. I wish I did... I guess all Im trying to say is, Ive been there.... Ive questioned things, but its by talking to others, seeking help, getting help, whether you take medications, or not, or exercising, moving, changing your diet, changing your hair, changing your clothes, whatever it is .. theres a way to get over the darkness and make it back into light. My high school professor, Coach Paul, Scott Paul, who taught me once after I had gone through some tough family times Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem Because of that saying, it has always kept me seeing a brighter picture, one at times that seems unclear and invisible... I know its easy for me to say this, but I wish to express that hearing such news is painful and makes me feel like if only I had sent a message.. maybe... maybe something could have been different... If you are going through tough times, and feel like no one cares... send Me a message. I care. I really do. You are loved. and Nick Kenyon I love you and will always cherish the memories we shared
