I KNOW a lot of you are angry. I am, too. And I know a lot of you want blood for blood. You believe - right or wrong, I will not judge you - that the only proportionate response to this travesty is revenge, a revenge so thorough that the perpetrators and their supporters are erased from this world (and the next). But I want you to ask yourselves something. Its the question thats been going through my mind since I heard the news. Am I a better person now than I was 18 days ago? If you took on a mitzvah in their merit, no matter how insignificant it may have seemed . . . if you said Tehillim, prayed with greater intent, felt at one with the entire Jewish nation as they stormed the Heavens entreating H to bring back the boys alive . . . then you ARE a better person now than you were the night Eyal, Naftali and Gil-ad were taken from us. Dont waste a drop of that remarkable, personal growth. Dont lose that connection to God and to the nation of Israel. Let their memory be a blessing to all of us, today and every day. Keep the momentum; keep the faith. This is how we will prevail.
