I #SupportGaza because it is my duty. Because I have to stand for justice. Because I have to stand against oppression. Honestly, Im tired. Im tired of hearing about the shellings, and the bombs, and the explosions. Im tired of watching videos of people running for their lives and children screaming. Im tired of hearing that the hospitals are running out of supplies. Im tired of seeing the injured. Im tired of seeing parents cry, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, cry. Im tired of people dying. And if I wanted to, I could stop hearing all of it. I could stop following people from Gaza on twitter and getting their constant updates of more chaos. I could stop watching videos, reading articles. But why? They dont have the opportunity to stop whats happening to them. They LIVE through this, day in and day out. Who am I to tune their struggle out and pretend nothings happening. Im scared that if I dont do what I can, I will be held accountable for part of this when I stand before Allah, subhanahu Wataala. He did not give me all the blessings I have just so I can waste away and not care about what is happening to my brothers and sisters all over the world. I cant stand before Allah and tell him I did nothing. The little I CAN do is SO little, I hope it counts. It gets harder to stay positive when their struggle doesnt end as soon as we would like it to, when so called leaders, are doing nothing, but then I remind myself that we dont need ANYONE but Allah! I may lose trust in the people but I cannot lose trust in Allah. The ones who return to Him are surely in a better place, inshaAllah. The ones that remain are under His watch. And dont forget, Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near. [Quran, 2:214] Cant wait for victory! For #Gaza #Syria #Egypt #Burma #Yemen #Ethiopia #Eritrea #OurUmmah
