I TOO WAS AN ORPHAN I lost my Mother when I was a child and in teenage I lost my Father forever~Being the youngest and the smallest,I always longed to be around my parents,I always longed for love,hug,affection and appreciation and I got none~I used to cry bitterly longing for the love of parents,longing for their presence but they had left me and gone forever.The only thing that they left behind me was tears and hurts. I am not the most educated but I grateful to all those genuine people who contributed and gave me LIFE...who paved a way for my future. When I grew up and when I started feeling stronger and confident,I soulfully decided to create a HOME,A FAMILY for those precious childrens who have got the same stories and backgrounds like me. My determination culminated in the creation of a new Home,A new family and A NEW HOPE in the form of A Sunrise Childrens Home in the year 1986 in a small town of Geyzing in West Sikkim,India.And, since then there has been no turning back. There were moments when I felt overwhelmed, when I felt like surrendering but the belief that TOMORROW MAY BRING AN ANSWER KEPT ME GOING. Today I am a proud Mother of not only one son(Palzer Tshering Lepcha)But numerous sons~When childrens calls me AMA(Mother),I feel tremendous satisfaction in my soul. I have been giving and I still want to give this worthy,precious,loving childrens the same chance that someone elses gave me .
