I WANT FEEDBACK ON THIS: Im going to go out on a little bit of a limb here...as an artist, I am impressed by the movie Noah, but as a Christian I feel like I should be mad about it...but Im not. Several conversations have been started by some of my non-Christian friends asking questions, and asking theological questions about scripture. How can I be upset about a piece of art that inspires people to ask questions? The atheist director of this film may have tried to damage the witness and power of a biblical story, but if feel failed in that and has actually inspired people to talk about it, talk and not argue. Let me ask this for ALL of you reading this: if there was going to be a Christian-based movie, fictional story, fictional but inspired characters, with a story that depicts the love of God; would you go see it? Its inspired but biblical truths, but has a fictional story. Im not talking about something like Narnia or Lord of the Rings, Im talking about a movie that would look more like the book This Present Darkness. Its a fictional story based on biblical principles. Would you see a movie, watch a show, or buy a game that depicted the ethereal battles of angels and demons? Biblical references pulled from multiple Christian denominations and crafted to be a fictional story using Christian names and places. Fictional but inspired...
