I WAS ASKED TO POST THIS FOR CHRISTIE GRISHOLM. SHE WANTS TO THANK EVERYONE, AND I HOPE THAT COPY AND PASTE WORKS FOR FB. Dear horsemen of Texas, After receiving the generous donation from the many horsemen of Texas, I must admit that I was so very touched and overwhelmed. I have always considered myself a rather strong and prideful person who had a very difficult time taking help from anyone. After all, we all should consider ourselves very strong individuals. we all know how demanding this lifestyle can be. The numerous, long hours, the endless travel, attachments lost of both man and animal, the hardships on families, and the extreme highs and lows that come with this profession... This passion. I knew the hardships and struggles on my children that were ongoing while pursuing this passion but I embraced them and I just knew that I could do it... And on my terms... Well there is nothing like an over abundant amount of kindness and generosity given when you think you are out of the game to show you that you are not alone and even more difficult for me to admit... That you dont have to be alone. So as I have learned upon receiving the many generousities, one is never too old or too smart to be humbled and gracious. So as hard as it is for me to think that I am too big... To strong.. Too independent to take help... I was so wrong. I so appreciate every donation, every thought, every act of kindness, and every prayer that was given for my children and myself. It was beyond anything that I could imagine and showed me that a generosity of heart may be all one needs to heal!!! I may still be physically healing but my heart has never been stronger thanks to all of you. So the sincerest and heartfelt thank you to ALL OF YOU for EVERYTHING!!!!! Isabella, Savannah, Shawnie, and Christie Grisham
