I absolutely Love when I meet people, especially students, who make me continue to fall in love with my career field, and inspire me to reach ever farther toward my goals! When I spoke to the students at Valley 2 weeks ago I told them, when I was a student my motto was eat, sleep, and breathe TV! I walked into the TV Mass Comm edit lab when I was on campus, and found Aki taking my advice - literally! She was actually sleeping in the edit room! Not because she had no place to go, but because she LOVES her field of study! I snapped a picture of her sleeping in there, and with her permission, am posting it. Talk to her for 5 minutes and you will gain a new respect for not only TV, but also students in general! I would be Surprised if she doesnt get a job in TV before she graduates in December! The girl knows her craft! These are pictures of her taking pictures of the homecoming game, which she was making a video for. The kicker? She doesnt like sports, and she didnt Have to do it for a class! She was doing it because she truly Loves her field of study, and believe me, she has more than just passion for it! I now look up to this girl! Truly an Inspiration!
