I accept respect only when I know I deserve it....Age Respect is automatic... Is non negotiable.... you must respect me that one I demand full stop, is natural given from above by almighty. Status work positions Respect, has its own terms and conditions guided by work policies....and conditions of service protocols....is mutual....you respect me I respect you... You abuse me I complain or charge you for insubordination... thats at workplace! But the bottom line is that you start respecting yourself! Value yourself... Give yourself credit for the good things you do to yourself...O bona motho a le. To expect RESPECT from community is challenging, because you have to convince the majority that you really deserve it. Respect must be earned! You must win the community TRUST, and they say TRUST is like an eraser/rubber...the more you do mistakes the smaller it becomes....erasing your mistakes quite often reduce the length of the eraser/rubber! Demanding respect is interpreted as bullying...you force respect from people less powerful than yourself...less fortunate than yourself....disadvantaged people....!
