I accidentally stepped on the foot of a lady who was lollygagging in the doorway. Since I was at fault (and knew I was at fault), I sincerely apologized. It didnt matter that she was lollygagging; I still apologized because I made the mistake. The lady scowled and nearly shouted at me and my companion. This was after I explained that I couldnt see her. My companion (my Dad) was getting a bit agitated so I told him that all is fine. I apologized again and just walked away. AS I was doing so, the lady continued ranting to her companion. Guess where and when this happened... It happened at the church exit immediately after Sunday service. More than pissing me off, this made me sad. Such hypocrisy... So disappointing...
