I actually dont take offense to this at all. I have the luxury of choosing whether I want to stay home or work. I choose to work part time to keep my independence. For me its a happy medium. I am earning but I am not missing out on all those important moments with my kids. But I know there are a lot of mothers out there who are single mothers or they have to have two incomes to support their family. I think the message herd is that for mothers who dont have any other choice but to work, or for those who chose to do both, they should have access to affordable, quality childcare. I know being a mother, stay at home or working, is just as important as any job out there. But its about personal choice, and in some cases survival.
