I already have my 30th anniversary on stage behind me. Blues I learned first. But here and there the I made several excursions into other styles. About 15 years ago I heard Mr. Wayne Perkins the first time, including his song Apache road. I presented it my friend and singer Norbert Leidig. He was immediately enthusiastic. So I rearranged the song for us, played the instruments on tape, and Norbert sang again one of his famous warmup first takes. Today I searched my archives for material and found the song. I had a little time and lots of photos. So, I created this video. Just for fun. I love this song, and our version, I think, is not so bad.
