I also wanted to post a short piece regarding the tragic and unexpected death of Robin Williams. Whilst I can never say I was a Robin Williams fan per se, I nevertheless had a great deal of respect for him. He was of course, a master of his art - a consummate professional who, despite his battle with personal demons - was a man who remained dependable and reliable. At times, I believe his film choices were perhaps not the best of decisions - but then again, whose are? Personally, I enjoyed his straight roles more so than his comedy roles (Mrs Doubtfire an exceptional of course), his dark roles in particular such as One hour photo and Insomnia permitted Williams to explore a deeper and more disturbing side of the track - in which I believe he excelled. Depression is so often linked to Genius - as if the two inexplicably go hand in hand. I just wonder how much longer depression will be allowed to slip through the fingers before people start addressing it with the seriousness it demands. Sadly, I honestly believe we havent even touched the surface... RIP Robin Williams
