I always follow my dreams. Sometimes it take me longer, but I never give up. It happens every day. My mother wanted me to visit my family in Trasona, Asturias. She asked me to never forget about them. She had a great time years ago with all her cousins in Asturias. She only left me an address. After her death in 1990, I began visiting and met with Caridad and Lola the first year. For many years enjoyed the company of Candido, Covadonga, Pablo and Jesus. We travelled together. 4 years ago, I asked Candido: When am I going to meet the rest of my cousins ? I asked him to organize a get together the following year. He talked to them and for the first. Time we had a get together, my sister Manu was with me to enjoy it. It took many years, but I discovered the best treasure, the love of my family. All of them know that I love them and we have the best time when we are together. Because of it all of my sisters are having Spanish Citizenship. Our Grandfather Ramón is rejoicing in heaven. In 1967 I met two first cousins in Madrid with my mother. I always recalled that day and listen for any information. It was not until this year that I found Cristina Fuertes-Planas Aleix in my sister Maria Teresa Martinez wall. I sent her a message and we had the best time together with her husband Marcelino. This time meeting the other members of the family was not possible. But it will happen. Distance is never a problem when you really care. David Octavio summarized it.
