I always forget just how much work there is in harvesting produce. You seem to spend forever digging, raking sowing, planting and weeding it is a wonder there is any time left for picking. I have now lifted all the garlic and picked a couple of containers of blackcurrants. Helen is in the kitchen trying a new technique for Jam with some of her raspberry seconds. Next it is picking peas, lifting potatoes and, if I remember, sowing buckwheat.
