I always make it a point to check over the credit card statement every month to look for suspicious charges. I caught one today. We hired a cleaning company last year to clean our house. They came several times, and never did a great job with our house. On top of that, they gave me a written quote, then charged me more than the quote. When I called to ask about it, they did their best to justify the charge, but had to relent because it was in writing, and they had a copy in the file. They credited back the difference to my card. Eight months later, they tried to charge the card for the same amount as the credit. It was manually keyed in. Theres no explanation except shady business practices, the amount of the re-charge was small enough they hoped it would go unnoticed.. Dont ever hire The Cleaning Authority Plymouth franchise.
