I always tell my students that there’s no such thing as a Dua - TopicsExpress

I always tell my students that there’s no such thing as a Dua going “unanswered.” Allah (swt) responds to every Dua, but sometimes He doesn’t respond by giving us exactly what we want. If Allah (swt) knows that what we’re asking for isn’t good for us, He saves our Duas and will reward us for them in the next life, and He’ll give us that which is better for us in this world – though we may not perceive it to be “better” at first. One of the Duas of Nuh (as) was: “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers” (11:47). It is from His ultimate Mercy that He rewards us for calling upon Him in Dua, even if we don’t realize what we’re asking for may not be in our best interests. Trust that He will always grant you even better than what you ask for. ___ Register for Visionaire Ramadan 2014 at VisionaireONLINE
