I always thought strokes were something I didnt have to worry about, at least now, but yesterday showed me that EVERYONE should be aware of the signs, because anyone could have a stroke at anytime. Im 20 years old and 5 months pregnant and I had one at work yesterday and it was the scariest thing of my life. I honestly thought I was dying. I couldnt talk, I had trouble walking, was extremely dizzy, and the right side of my mouth and my right hand went numb and I couldnt move either one. When I got to the hospital I couldnt remember anything, I couldnt tell them my address or how far along I was or anything. Luckily my dad was able go come get me from work and take me to the hospital, I was there for 5 and a half hours last night, I still have a bad headache but I dont think it did any permanent damage...but thats not always the case and I dont want anyone I have on fb to go through that, especially when theyre pregnant, and not know what is happening to them so please everyone read this article!
