I always was a supporter of BJP but I have certain basic problems with the current government and its PM in particular. All issues related to budget and price rice aside ( acche din in my opinion does not mean a gift wrapped box that changes India overnight and people shouldnt expect the same considering the state of ruin congress left behind for them to take on from) my basic question is this: Mr. Modi always spoke very strongly against terrorism, he took on the government of Pakistan and he always stressed on the contributions of the security forces. Mr. Modi also spoke about how the previous government did not do much to stop crimes against women before becoming PM in all his speeches. My question is where did the same strong and outspoken leader who is now the PM disappear ? I thought Mr. Modi was someone who would come out and speak and act strongly against the repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan in which we lost a soldier. I did not hear a single statement from him about rising instances of crimes against women. I didnt see him act against the increase of power prices in Delhi. Yes, of course Manmohan Singh was always quiet and in comparison to him youre better but thats not why people chose you, they thought you were different! Mr. Modi, people of India want a Prime Minister whom they can connect to. They dont want to see someone flaunting his unique attire on his foreign trips and chest thumping and bragging on Facebook posts and Twitter about what he did. And what did your minister say in Parliament during budget ? People of India want a Bullet Train Really ? There are people here dying of poverty, disease and hunger and I certainly think they have more life saving things to think about than wanting bullet trains- those are the people you need to work for.
