I am 6 months sober today. It is possibly the greatest achievement in my life, as sad as that may sound to those that dont really know me. Those that do know me, and my past struggles with the bottle, understand more or less how monumental every day of sobriety, from here on out, is to my life. I know it may seem like Im attention seeking to post this, but honestly Im actually proud of myself for one of the few times in my life. No one can cheapen this victory for me, as they tend to do on other things Ive showed pride in. 6 months down, and a lifetime to go :)
