I am Karthik Vegi and I am a Computer Science Engineer, a Post Grad from IIIT-Bangalore with close to 5 years of experience in the IT industry during which I worked for : Sanovi Technologies, Computer Science Corporation and HSBC Global Anlaytics Centre, Bangalore. I have a versatile profile with work experience in Java, SQL, Analytics and SAS. I listened to my inner calling and gave up my high paying corporate job to contribute to the learning community. My focus is on imparting students with Right skills of programming and Right skills not just to get a job, but to build a successful career in industry coz at the end of the day a campus job is only an opportunity to showcase you talent and you cannot afford to falter after you get a job. With my own experience I can say that we learn the wrong way of programming in college. The training institutes that are around are no different. They only teach you the how to use and hardly focus on where to use and why to use which are of more importance. You deal with small programs in college and when you are introduced to the monsters in the industry you will be baffled. Simply coz youve never learnt the art of solving bigger problems, let alone having an approach to tackle them.
