I am NOT denying a life with miracles that follow faith-based - TopicsExpress

I am NOT denying a life with miracles that follow faith-based actions of the heart and mind. The definitions and (almost mythological-in-nature) explanations OF those experiences I DO question very seriously now. I sincerely believe the church has created what they (honestly) believe are accurate miracle triggers, and that they are (in reality) experiences that have more to do with faith PERIOD than what the faith is on (ritualistically). I use the word magic simply because it is the only human word that describes what most Christians think takes place with many of their beliefs. 1. They make a faith statement, and 2. God in heaven sees it and does a supernatural thing because of that miracle trigger - be it someone using the name of Jesus, pleading the blood, or declaring a statement of belief about some ancient event like the resurrection... Everything I have experienced IN THAT BELIEF CONSTRUCT are exactly what I have experienced over the last 3 years living WAY OUTSIDE OF not only that construct but those beliefs... miraculous physical healing, desires coming true that couldnt possibly be coincidence, seeing myself heal others, watching lives blossom into abundant life, healed family relationships that are nothing short of miraculous, words of knowledge, you name it... virtually everything I experienced over 40 years in the church has not only been a part of my new life, but even more clearly and intense. A life of miracles does not come from properly-believed protocol. - Our dude Ken Dahl
