I am SO EXCITED about this incredible documentary on the actual EXODUS of the Israelites out of Egypt, which took 12 yrs to make!!! It is at the AMC FORUM this Mon only!! Check out this trailer...beautiful musical score too! This April, the Feast of Passover will take place on Good Friday. If you ever wondered what all of this was about, and why we as CHRISTians honor this Feast of the LORD, read my brief nutshell explanation below. On PASSOVER - a perfect, innocent lamb was slain, and its blood was placed over the doorway; all who were behind that blood stained door were protected ....the Angel of Death would Passover that home. All who were not under the protection of the blood of the lamb would suffer great loss: their first born would die, from Pharaoh, all the way down to the lowliest slave. The first Passover took place on the night before their Exodus of of Egypt.. GOOD FRIDAY - when THE Lamb of GOD was slain, it was for the protection of any and all who would ever (symbolically) come under the blood of THE Lamb - trusting that they will likewise be protected from the judgement of GOD (yet to come), not because they were good....but because His perfect/innocent blood was sacrificed on their behalf.
