I am a Liberal – in the classic sense of that word. As such I believe that every citizen (that is to say, human planetary inhabitant) has a right – nay, a duty – to participate in public discourses in which a presumption of the common rationality and basic equality of all participants is a given. This classic Liberalism commits me to an attitude of outright rejection towards the governments of the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the EU – and the mainstream media (MSM) whose basic modus operandi consists in a deliberate and large-scale distortion of the means of public discourse such that genuine rationality and equality are now impossible in practice, even questionable in theory. I realise that this attitude doesnt do me any favours but I cant help it. Im a Liberal.
