I am the sick looking for healing even though I do not have Ebola.I am all those victimized by the health system due to this deadly virus. I am ALL brave ones picking up dead bodies. I am the poor and destitute. I am ALL the health workers risking their lives.I am the Liberians fighting to leave the country. I am the Liberians that have no where to go. I am Dr. Phillip Ireland. I am Dr. Melvin Kukor. I am Dr. Yatta Sackie-Wapoe. I am the prayer warriors on the battle field. I am the Liberians using their personal resources to reach out. I am the pregnant woman who has died from Ebola. I am the orphans.I am the woman in the picture rising her hands to the Heavens with her dying children around her at the Ebola Center .I am Fatu Kekula- the young brave nurse.I am my mother who calls me everyday to assure me of Gods promises. I am my friends and family calling/chatting to give me updates. I am the upcoming generation of unborn children that will read a devastating history of their homeland. I am the Liberian children -I want to go to school and have a childhood. I am the Liberians being treated like trash by African brothers. I am the Liberians that do not get pick up from airports for fear that I might have Ebola. I am the Liberians who phone calls are being ignored.I am the Liberians who present passport and wait for the scary expressions on the faces of those I hand them to. I am the Liberian afraid to speak because of my accent. I am the helpless Liberian voice crying to God!
