I am a bit sad to say good bye to 2014. Although it had some seriously low points it was a year of adventures and firsts: I won Open Mic UK, played my first Italian gig, played a sell out theatre show, recorded my third album, gave up biting my nails, took up biting my nails again, hated and loved a few people, got a tan, lost a tan, had my first Radio 1 broadcast, almost got a tattoo on my bum, moved out, moved back in, moved out again, moved back in again, made some amazing friends, wrote loads of songs, got a bob, bought an electric toothbrush, held a meerkat, got a job in marketing, played a live radio session or ten, discovered a love of black outfits, nearly became a teacher, gave up vintage dresses, did a house concert tour, learnt Spanish, bought a piano, drove my Micra a long long way to lots of gigs and discovered how little sleep I need to survive. I am sad 2014 is over really.... Also this is the year in which I will turn 30. #dampener
