I am a fan of the character of the Hercules and had watched over the years many works of the character.However this one was not as good as anticipated.The actors did an ok job, but the story was was like borrowed with hints from The Clash of The Titans, 300, Spartacus(TV series) and Robin Hood.The makers should have understood that Hercules was no mere man but a super human.He did not depend on armies or was knocked down by punches.He was something of superman and hulk combined.He had rage and power filled in him. Even in order to battle Hercules there were were equivalent opponents too in the Mythology.Here the makers just tried to show the Nemean lion in the beginning of the movie and the very next Battle Hercules is subdued by a bunch of mortals.It was at that point I bet most Fans have left the cinema hall.I think the makers should consult the original stories with the movies of similar genre and even get the ideas from the fans and then write the script.What is the point of giving Hercules his mortal father as opponent when in real case Hercules would have finished both his father and brother and there armies singlehandedly within first hour of the entire movie. It was like releasing the wrath of Hulk on Sylvester the cat.
