I am a hunter. I enjoy the outdoors, the scouting, the scenery from a tree stand, I love the hunt, not just the killing of an animal, its the fair chase. I still get the shakes after a kill, I still thank the animal for being so majestic and strong, I still honor my kill by using as much as possible of the animal. That being said, I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would want to shoot a rhino or an elephant. What is the chase there? What is the purpose. I just read about a group raffling off a chance to shoot an endangered rhino to raise money to help the rhino. OK. What sense does that make. Am I missing something???
