I am a little slow updating on this page. I am doing well and the Thorpe family has had a crazy, fun summer. Thank you all for all your support, love and friendship. It has been over a year I have been learning to live with what most consider a terminal disease. I have had hard days and many, many good days related to cancer. I have truly learned what it means to love and be loved. What a gift and a blessing. My tumors have grown slightly, which at first totally freaked me out. My doctors first discussed harsher chemo treatments and I was scared. After about 15 minutes of trying to wrap my head around the news, my radiologist at Huntsman walked in with a smile and said he was ready to do direct liver therapy. This is what I have been waiting for. He just needed the tumors to grow a little so he could see them to treat them. God knows what he is doing! I am going in Tuesday for mapping and will have the actual treatment the first week of September. Prayers are always appreciated and needed. If this, it could kill my tumors. If not, I have faith in what will come next. I truly believe in the power of faith. Thank you all for adding yours! Miracles happen every day!! Love you all!
