“I am a nightmare walking, psychopath talking!” I frequently - TopicsExpress

“I am a nightmare walking, psychopath talking!” I frequently cringe when I see so many desolate souls looking towards two ignorant advocates, who were once responsible for sowing the seeds of so many of the problems which now destructively influence our youth and the Black community. And, when a young Sister courageously and appropriately asked master P, “Don’t you think that some of the music that you all do, as far as your guns and your dope selling; don’t you think that, that has an effect on some our young men out here, because there is no male figure in most of our houses, but you all don’t come out with music as education, you know what I’m saying? So, don’t you think that some of the music you all rap about and sing about is a problem?” Predictably, not one of those “celebrity struck” people in the room applauded the Sister’s courageous insightfulness. Master P answered her first by defending the music, saying that, “If you blame the music that’s just an excuse.” However, almost immediately, in the next breath, he unconsciously proves the young Sister’s statement to be true. Master P said, “I was riding to Ice T, with my one year old son that in college right now, with two pistols, bumping colors; I am a nightmare walking, psychopath talking! I’m telling you straight up, that’s what I was bumping!” Everywhere Master P goes you hear spontaneous and unsolicited chants of, “Uh, Na, Na, Na,” and, a chorus of his destructive lyrics. When he tours jails, the females jump upon the tables and perform lascivious dances, whilst chanting, “Uh, Na, Na, Na!” Yet, he tells the people he’s trying to teach, “If you blame the music that’s just an excuse.” And, Christopher 2X proudly and loudly began and led the applause for this foolishness. Presently, Master P and Christopher 2X are endeavoring to launch another dysfunctional assault in the pretext of a destructively voyeuristic “documentary” upon an already beleaguered, Black community, under the clichéd pretense of “stopping the violence.” Every so-called documentary, or investigative news report, which claims to endeavor to find solutions to Black problems, in the end, tend to exploit Black hopelessness, whilst victimizing Black people. Black communities become the pathetic entertainment for a dysfunctional, voyeuristic society. Until we as a community become at least as conscious and as courageous, as the young Sister who dare ask such a deep question, in such an unsympathetic environment, we will forever be stuck in those destructive and dysfunctional predicaments which are destroying us as a people. Until we begin reversing, and undoing those dysfunctional perceptions in the minds of our people, which have been premeditatedly put into our minds and lives by dysfunctional celebrities and cold and callous media outlets, and until we can change the culture and the dysfunctional mindset of our people; we will forever follow the “Judas Goats’ which chase Caesars’ thirty pieces of silver, leading us to the destruction of the slaughter!
