I am about to lose my mind, some stupid 15 year old kid got angry last week that I banned him and his friend for hacking on my video game server I host. So, then, they easily get my IP, and are constantly, consistently over the course of the week ddosing me to a point of where it has started to affect my actual work, interfering with youtube uploads, and using the internet in general. Ive contacted comcast who just reset my modem everytime it happens which gets me a stable connection again, but to no avail about the same time every night they ddos me again, and again, and again. I dont even know how theyre getting my IP address as I changed it numerous times, I now pay for high quality VPN, but still theyre somehow able to shut me down for long durations. My router keeps detecting the abnormal connections and detecting the massive packet loss and overloads they keep sending me, but theres not a damn thing i can seem to do about it. I want to run my 5k charity stream, but am terrified to do it if these stupid little shit shuts down my stream just because he thinks trolling is funny. I need help.
