I am also a flood sufferer,two stories of my home The QAFAS,remained inundated for more than Two weeks,and I lost all my domestic belongings which include flooring,bedding,curtains,kitchen utensils,eatables,clothing which I had accumelated since decades. I lost my Liberary,which include the oldest chronicle of Kashmir NILMAT PURANA,RAJTARANGNI,TAAREEKH,E HASSAN,TAAREEKH,E AQWAM,E KASHMIR,4 Vedas,BUKHAREE SHAREEF,SHRIMUDH BHAGWAD,BHAGWAD GITA ,DHAMMAPADA,and IQBALJAVED NAMA and many more. What I was wearnig at the time of water entering my house.Only those cloths were saved. Still I did not found myself deserving for relief.Accordingly I neither claimed nor recieved any relief Cash or Kind,from any person,group,organisation,department or society whatsoever. However CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE provided me 2 bottles of packaged water. Srigurdwara Sahib at Barzula Offered me a cup of tea. And also volunteers of Jamat,e Islami offered me to clean my house.But till then I had completed my job with the active help of my Gujar Friend Amjid Dader Gujjar from Village Haftradah,Kupwara. I passed my refugee period with my sister Dr;Shahnaz Taing and my friend Sheikh Mukhtar of Umar Colony LalBazar. For which I thank all the above friends and organisations. But I am feeling pain while seeing that their is no transparent method of relief meterial distribution. Relief items are not marked as Relief Meterial for Flood sufferers-not for sale tag. Authorities need to make note of it.
