I am an avid reader of history. love reading it thanks to my mom, always read to us and made sure we got to the library. there has always been an invisible assumption that the more we read the better we understand. a week or so ago marks the 50th year since the tragic events in dallas robbed us of a president who was getting things done. I vaguely remember those events when they occurred. much history has been written since, today 50 yrs later if you put 20 guys in a room and ask them about that event you will get at least 15 diferant opinions. 50 yrs ago I thought I knew what happened now im less sure and I have read plenty. My concern is for the generations ahead. as a young man I could only read the opinions of those who had access to the print media.a growing number since the guttenburg bible. who will write history? fox news? cnn? facebook? im very curios
