I am an ugly runner. And I resent those that are able to run with cute hairstyles, full on makeup, and perfectly matched non sweaty outfits. I am drenched and red faced and spitting and swearing and heaving for breath. I was behind a pretty runner tonight, who I waited until right in front of my house to pass hard on the inside. I ripped off my arm band and held it overhead while doing a Rocky Balboa dance. I "booh-ya!"ed her, spat on the ground and watched her jog past in shame of the massive beat down I just gave her. She turned and went into the house two doors down. The neighborhood cookout may be awkward this year.
