I am asking for prayers for the family and the many people whose lives a little nine year old girl, Ebony Ann, has touched. Ebony was diagnosed with cancer as an infant. Yesterday, after years of treatments off and on, and much suffering, she passed to the arms of our Father. I met her briefly, and I just couldnt understand how such a precious, dear innocent child was meant to endure such suffering... with a smile on her face and talking of being with Jesus. Why did God do this? Then I began to understand that He brought Ebony into the lives of many to show us how to live and believe in His promises no matter what life throws at us. As I said, I was briefly touched by Ebony and her mother, Beth Ann, but I will forever remember that special brave little girl who is now flying in the heavens with that smile on her face and I just bet she is wearing purple! Thoughts and prayers to her WONDERFUL Mom, to my niece Angie and her family, and to the MANY who loved her. I KNOW she is well with our Lord.
